WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY TAKE PLACE?

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location. The venue offers a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour space before making our way to the ballroom, weather permitting. If there is rain, the ceremony will take place in the ballroom prior to cocktail hour in the bar area.

HOW WILL WE GET FROM THE HOTEL TO THE VENUE?

We have set up shuttles to and from the hotel for your convenience. The times of departure will be posted. We will have a 20-25 minute ride but have tried to pick the comfiest transportation from the nicest hotel possible. It will be worth it! Trust us.

FOOD?

We have tried all the options and picked the very best of the cocktail hour menu for you. There is going to be a ton of food! For dinner we will have 4 possible options, (chicken, steak, fish and vegetarian). If anyone has any food allergies or preferences, our venue made it clear they WILL accommodate but please let us know ahead of time so they are aware. Sooner the better, I wont forget, I promise. -Toni (duh, who else is writing this) Also our Palermo's wedding cake and some extra little desserts and coffee will be served. MMmmmmmm

ALCOHOL?

Uh.. yeah.. open bar!! Although the bar is a beautiful circa 1700's antique that is worth taking the time to check out, the entire staff will be available to us to serve drinks, food or help with any other needs we may have. Our venue is pretty amazing and is staffed by some very nice people!

(FOR HOTEL GUESTS) WILL THERE BE A BREAKFAST?

Unfortunately, we will not be having a private breakfast, but the hotel does have a restaurant that serves breakfast at your own expense. We heard the food is great. If not, we will be very very close to the Rockaway Townsquare Mall that has plenty of other options such as Starbucks or Cinnabon.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

YES, we love the kiddos!

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY OR RECEPTION?

Yes. There is parking at the venue for those of you who will not be staying at the hotel, or who are, but would like the freedom to come and go as you please. Don't drink and drive!! Shuttles and DDs are the way!

DO YOU HAVE ANY HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS?

Yes, and shuttle service! We have a section of this website devoted to it and have also sent out cards with the save the dates. Check out that part to get all of the information.

What are we doing about COVID-19?

During these crazy times it is hard to tell what the future will hold. With our wedding date quickly approaching along with a lack of answers, we have decided to postpone our wedding. It was a very difficult decision, but we feel that giving the world more time to find it's "new normal" will lead to a more enjoyable and stress free experience. IT WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT!

How are you handling a postponed wedding?

We are currently in the process of sending out "save the new date" announcements. EVERYONE will be sent one, regardless of your RSVP sent or not sent to our previous date. Those of you who have RSVPed no for whatever reason, you would still be receiving a "save a new date" in case your plans or feelings have changed. I am requesting that everyone who has already RSVPed to our old date, to please RSVP again to avoid confusion.

** I have added a new page on this website titled "RSVP." This will be the primary way to RSVP to our new wedding date. If you do not feel comfortable doing it this way feel free to reach out to me (Toni) via text, call or email, but we do encourage you to use our RSVP tab to keep things organized.

Have any details changed?

No. None of the details have changed besides the date. The times have all remained the same. Please see "Schedule" page for times and details. This website has been updated completely.

Hotel changes?

I have emailed with the hotel. For those of you who have already booked rooms for our original date, you must call to cancel in order to get your money back. It is my understanding that they are giving full refunds at this time, but that can change if you wait too long to cancel your reservations. We are in the process of setting up a new room block for our wedding date. Please be patient. It may take up to a week to get everything straightened out before you can book a new room. I will be contacting the hotel personally to make sure everyone who has booked a room is aware of the changes. If you need any assistance from Anthony or myself, please feel free to reach out. Our goal is to make this process as smooth and stress free as possible for all of our guests.
